What is Flow?

Flow is a mental state where you're fully immersed in a task — focused, productive, and often unaware of time passing. It's the sweet spot between challenge and skill, described by psychologist Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi.

What is the Pomodoro Technique?

The Pomodoro Technique is a time management method that breaks your work into short, focused sessions (usually 25 minutes), followed by a brief break. It helps you stay productive, avoid burnout, and train your brain to focus deeply over time.

How to Use Forevera Flow ?

Follow these steps to enter, track, and improve your flow state during your work sessions.

1. Write Your Flow Notes

Start by answering a few quick questions about your focus, emotions, and perceived challenge in the flow notes. This prepares your mind and sets your flow baseline.

2. Start the Flow Timer

Begin a focused work session using the timer. It structures your time for flow, followed by built-in rest periods.

3. Self-check with the Flow Bar (During Break)

Click on the zone that reflects your current state during breaks. Read the description to better understand how you feel.

I built this tool from a simple question : "How can we turn something as abstract as the flow state into a real, usable feature?"

Inspired by Flow: The Psychology of Optimal Experience by Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi and insights from a Pomodoro Rooms community, I created a visual Flow Bar — a unique way to track and understand your mental state to improve your productivity.

Unlike anything else out there, this tool helps you:

  • Identify your flow state with the flow bar unique feature
  • Adjust your focus levels
  • Reflect and work better

It’s like having a mirror for your mind — just a bit of introspection and a few clicks, and you’re back in the zone.
